In my class we have been finding facts about trees and animals that are in the ngahere and this reminds me of your slide. My favorite feature fact that you found is that Karearea can catch prey that are larger than themselves Are Karearea your favorite type of bird?
Hello Tyrell my name is Aaron and I am a year 6 at Paihia School. I really loved your post about your favorite bird. I found the facts really interesting. I did not know that a falcon can fly over 100 km per hour. Also I did not know that they weigh between 410 and 720 gs. It is an awesome post.

I really liked how you have color coordinated it to where they are. I have been learning about kererū and what job it does in the Ngahere and how it helps. Do you know that the scientific name for the Kererū is it is Hemiplegia novaeseelandiae?
